I am irrevocably committed to the global appreciation of the AFAN, an artform in Nigeria that was performed to a legendary status for eighty years until its creator , major propagator and only known exponent, Chief Umobuarie Igberaese, died on December 10, 2001. I hope to use this blog to draw the attention of investors to the numerous stories of the AFAN for subsequent production as low-budget films as well as marketing and distribution to a ready audience.
